How far in advance do I need to order my wedding flower tile/s?
You can place your order as far in advance as you fancy! However, to ensure you receive the packing materials by your wedding day, we recommend you don’t place your order any less than 5 working days in advance.

How long will my tile/s take to be completed?
Your panel should be completed and couriered to you within 14 business days of us receiving it. We’ll do our best to keep you updated along the way and email you full shipping details to allow you to track your tile as it wings its way back to you!

What happens if I want to throw my bouquet?
If most of the flowers still remain intact after the bouquet is thrown it will still be possible to make a casting. You might want to consider asking your florist to make you a small ‘throwing bouquet’ or even throw one of your bridesmaids’ bouquets to ensure your bridal bouquet is in the best possible condition for us to work with.

Will your process use every flower in my bouquet?
No – we carefully create our tiles to make the most beautiful wall hangings we can. If we were to use every bloom in your bouquet our tiles would end up too large and heavy, making them very impractical to hang in most homes.

Will my tile be ready to hang when I receive it?
Yes! A special, high-strength fixing is set into the back of each tile.

Do you frame the tiles?
No, we prefer to prepare them ready to hang when you receive them and leave framing options up to our clients. It is certainly possible to have your tile framed by a professional framer, should you want to.

Can I order one of your tiles as a wedding gift?
Of course! Our panels make unique and meaningful presents. Purchase a gift voucher by clicking here – these allow the bride to choose her own preservation options.

Can you create a cast plaster tile from silk or artificial flowers?
No, sadly our technique does not work on silk flowers – fresh flowers only!

Can I order from outside the UK?
No, sadly our service is currently only available within the UK.

How soon after the wedding do you need to receive my flowers?
Ideally we like to receive your flowers as soon as possible, to enable us to work with them while they’re still looking fresh. We recommend asking a friend or family member to grab your flowers when the day is over, package them in the box we supply and pop them in the post.

How do my flowers get to you?
When you place your order we will send you a specially-sized box, packing materials, labels and instructions. All you need to do is follow these instructions, pop the flowers into the box and the box in the post. For more info on the process, click here.

Are postal charges included?
Shipping of the finished tile back to you is indeed included in our prices. However, we keep our preserved wedding flower package prices on the lower side as customers do need to pay postage to get their fresh flowers shipped to us. This may change in the future, but for now it’s the only way we can fully ensure the correct shipping is bought for the weight of the flowers without pre-paid postage expiring. If you have any questions about this, we’d be happy to help: mail@ellieandbeatty.com.

What happens if my flowers get lost in the post on the way to you?
This has never happened so far. Flowers are sent back to us via Royal Mail fully tracked and signed for. If you’re within a 25 mile radius of our studio (LL20 7RS), we can even collect them ourselves. Click here to read more info about this.

What happens if my finished tile breaks when being shipped back to me?
Thankfully, this has not happened to date! We hope it never does, but if the worst was to happen, we keep some of the blooms back in our studio until we receive confirmation from you that you have received your tile safe and sound. That way we can take another casting from your original wedding flowers if we need to.
